Yes. Litrevu cites only papers in your library and checks that every citation points to a passage it read in them; a citation it cannot match is removed before you see it. It does not check that the passage fully supports the sentence. That is why you can open each cited passage. Read it before you rely on a claim, and treat every answer as a lead to check rather than a fact.
Your institution decides, so check its AI policy first. Many allow AI as a study aid for reading, searching and summarising your sources, often with a declaration, and that is what Litrevu is built for. Many do not allow AI-written text in work you submit, even after you edit it. Litrevu can draft text, so if your policy rules that out, use it to read, compare and check, write your own text, and declare how you used it.

Litrevu does not detect AI-written text, makes no claim about how detectors treat text it writes, and is not built to get AI text past one. If your institution does not allow AI-written text in submitted work, do not submit text Litrevu drafted, edited or not: use it to read, compare and check, and write your own. Your institution's AI policy decides what use is acceptable.
You can remove a paper from your library at any time, and nobody else can see your library. Removing a paper does not by itself delete the stored copy of the file. You can delete your account from your profile page: that removes your account, your library, your drafts and the stored copies of the PDFs you uploaded. Litrevu stores an identical PDF only once, so a PDF that another account also uploaded may be kept for that account.
